In this era of Web 2.0 marketing, eliminating the learning curve by using the knowledge of others provides an edge over the competition. The question this review will attempt to answer is "Does Bob the teacher deliver on his promises.

The Squidoo Secrets Apprentice Program

What does the squidoo secrets apprentice program provide?

There is an apprentice program that you can join for free in which you receive an interview that Paulie Sabol did with Bob the teacher. This interview is over an hour long and provides lots of great information. Of course there are several attempts in the interview to upsell you to the premium membership, but this is to be expected. You also receive a transcript to the interview if you decide you don't want to listen for over an hour.

You will also receive "How Do You Do, Squidoo?" Orientation Guide To Squidoo . Bob even lets you rebrand this and give it away.

He also sends 7 secrets to the e-mail account you use to sign up with.

I've never received anything on the Internet for free that wasn't trying to get me to buy some other product. This offer is no different. The premium offer in this case is the Super Kraken Membership . For those who don't know, the Kraken is a legendary giant sea monster capable of pulling a ship to the bottom of the ocean. The private consultations are very similar to each other as Bob takes Scott and David through the creation of their first lens. The audio files all come with full transcripts. I recommend using the transcript for at least one of the consultations because of this.

The price of the Super Kraken Membership when you accept the one time offer is $97. This may seem like a lot, but you receive a good bit of useful material here. One expression I always keep in mind is "you get what you pay for".

The Bottom Line

There is a lot of material here, almost too much. But most of it is quite useful. There is a lot of material for the squidoo newbie as well as many advanced strategies. I have not had a chance to apply many of the advanced strategies to my lenses, but look forward to using them to increase my lens rank and my revenue. I will update this review as I progress.
